Good morning, Pompey!
Hope you're all recovering nicely from the Victorious Festival madness, if you were anything like me trying to find parking on Sunday, you'll appreciate this week's brilliant news about free weekend bus travel.
We've got cracking good news for the Southampton derby, some proper impressive yachts arriving at Gunwharf, and the council's still after your thoughts on that Big Portsmouth Survey.

Right, let’s get into it!
The City Council is working with First Bus and Stagecoach to offer free bus travel everyone in Portsmouth on the 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, 21, 27 and 28 September. This applies to all bus services when journeys start within the Portsmouth boundary and does not include return journeys from outside of Portsmouth.
Portsmouth FC has announced that it will subsidise the associated damage insurance for the coach travel to Southampton on Sept 14., for the South Coast Derby at St Mary’s. This will bring the price of travel down to £18 pp. Click here for travel + ticket info
This is a second call to take part in the Big Portsmouth Survey! It’s your chance to let the City Council know your thoughts on budget, local services, and share experiences with the rising cost of living. It closes midnight on Sunday 14th. Take the survey here
It’s been a summer of water racing, and yet another one hits our shores. The Clipper Round the World Yacht race starts today at Gunwharf Quays. Ten 70ft ocean racing yachts will start a 40,000 nautical mile race across six continents. This is your chance to see them before they depart on Sunday
